There’s something satisfying about a cup of tea…
Effective dose is 1cup/2 -3x a day. Drinking a few cups of herbal tea per day will help your body to absorb active constituents easier. If the tea becomes a part of your daily diet, your body will benefit from this delightful habit over a long period of time.
There are several ways to prepare herbal tea: INFUSION & DECOCTION
INFUSION - Hot
1-2 Tbsp of tea with 1.5 cup of hot water. Let it steep for 15-20min. Ideal for soft parts of plants such as flowers, leaves, fruits.
INFUSION - Cold
A wonderful way to extract delicate vitamins, flavonoids, enzymes and mucilaginous carbohydrates. Ideal for soft parts of plants such as flowers, leaves, fruits.
DECOCTION
1.5 Tbsp of tea with 1 cup of hot water. Let it simmer for 20 – 45 minutes. This process is suitable for rough parts of plants such as bark, stems, seeds and roots.
How many cups of tea can make a bag of loose tea?
These are general guidelines. The number of cups depends on how strong tea you prefer it.
