  • Respiratory relief - Lavender steam inhalation. Add a few drops of oil to a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head, lean over the bowl, and breathe in the vapor. Continue to breathe deeply for a few minutes, occasionally removing the towel and your head from the bowl. 

  • Elevates mood, relaxes aching muscles, and helps with joint stiffness. Rub/massage the oil into your aching muscles and stiff joints. Wait a few minutes for the oil to penetrate the skin. 

  • Helps with swellings and muscle inflammation. Rub/massage the oil into your aching muscles and stiff joints. Wait a few minutes for the oil to penetrate the skin. Placing a heat patch or warm cloth onto the area after massage may help swelling subside faster. Adding a few drops of oil on the patch or cloth will provide extra comfort. 

  • Helps to build your immune system and combat insomnia. Lavender helps to promote white blood cell creation, which is the building block of our defense system. It also helps to reduce the tension in our bodies; hence the relaxing sensation. Add a few drops on your temples and/or feet before going to bed. 

  • Clean the air in your environment (vaporization). Put a few drops of oil into the top dish of an 'oil burner' in the main living space of your home. Then place a lit tea light candle in the space provided underneath the dish.  

  • Release stress; combat symptoms of hypertension and anxiety (bath, shower, massage). Massage oil into skin or add to bath water.

Extra tip: Moth repellent - Add a few drops to a napkin and place in your closet.
